MIRA: A 5T1C Flash Cell-based Mixed-Signal InMemory Readout Architecture Achieving Highly Accurate VMM Computation

We built MIRA, a mixed-signal readout that squeezes accurate VMMs out of 5T1C Flash synapses by pairing CPP-programmed cells with a high-linearity CVE and a compact 4-bit flash ADC for serialized conversion — the trick is doing careful analog accumulation and timing to get R^2 > 0.9957 under Monte Carlo. If you like practical IMC that actually survives device variation and standard 180nm flows, this is a clean, low-overhead path to reliable Flash-based MACs.
